♥How long have you been together? Married for three years, but I've known him and we dated off and on since 2002.

♥ How long did you know each other before you started dating? We met in March of 2002 through our moms and we went on our first date in April of 2002.

♥ Who asked who out? He asked me.

♥ How old are each of you? I'm 24 and he is 23.

♥ Did you go to the same school? no.

♥ Are you from the same home town? no.

♥ Who is the smartest? we have our own areas that we know alot about.

♥ Who majored in what? I majored in Early Childhood Educationbut did not complete my degree. He didn't have a major when he left college.

♥ Who is the most sensitive? ME!

♥ Where do you eat out most as a couple? Chili's or Olive Garden

♥ Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple? Orange Beach or Augusta (but that was me going to see him while he was at AIT)

♥ Who has the worst temper? We are about equal.

♥ How many children do you want? We have agreed on three but we will be happy with however many God gives us whether it is one, two, three or more...

♥ Who does the cooking? we both do but I have to say that he is much better at it than me.

♥ Who has the bigger family? He does.

♥ Do you get flowers often? I used to get them all the time from him but when we got married I stopped that because I can't see spending that much money on something that is going to die.

♥ How do you spend the holidays? with our families.

♥ Who is more jealous? Neither of us are really jealous people...

♥ How long did it take to get serious? We got engaged after one year of dating (the second time we dated. we took a break from dating for two years)

♥ Who eats more? definitely him.

♥ What do you do for a living? I work for a credit union and he works for his dad's painting business and he is a soldier with the Army Reserves.

♥ Who does the laundry? We both do laundry...

♥ Who’s better with the computer? Me.

♥ Who drives when you are together? He does

♥ What is "your" song? It isn't our official song but for graduation from Basic Training I bought him an iPod and I put the song I'm Yours by Jason Mraz on there for him, so that is our unofficial song.

Sorry for the lack of blogging this week. My computer at work crashed Thursday night so when I got here Friday morning I was computerless... We don't have the internet at home so work is really my only place to post quick updates unless I go to my sister's house...

Anywho, I just got my brand spanking new computer and I am SO stinking excited about it!!! Everything is so shiny and new. Like I have Microsoft Office 2007 (which I have on my laptop at home) as opposed to whatever ancient version I had before. I am so happy to be back up with the times for now!

Life has been crazy and emotional lately. Lots of things going on that I can't really go into but please keep us in your prayers.

That is all I have time for right now, I have a week's worth of work to catch up on!

It's that time again...

It is time for McDonald's Monopoly Game! My best friend Lindsey and I used to play it together when she worked here... When I went the other day and realized that it has started again it made me think back to when she worked here and all the fun we had together!

I miss you Winks!!! We need to get together soon!!!!!!!!!

Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

On Saturday my husband and I did not sleep until 10:30 knowing that his parents would be at our house at 11:00 to watch a football game. We use our alarm clock every day. I would never intentionally not set it so I could get a little bit more sleep. Not me!

I also did not almost forget to put a bra on before everyone got to my house on Saturday. I always have on a bra, especially if we have company coming over...

I also did not have plans to meet a complete and total stranger (that I met on Twitter) along with a couple of my IRL friends for lunch on Sunday. We most certainly did not spend five hours at the restaurant... why would I meet a stranger in the first place, let alone spend five hours eating lunch with said stranger.

And I did not stay up incredibly late last night and wake up late for work this morning. I am more responsible than that and always get to bed at a decent time.

Gavin Update

Zach's Aunt Margaret posted an update on Facebook...

Right now they have him hooked up to I.V's and putting in a catheter. They will be doing the same x-rays and sonars to see what they can find.

Hopefully they will know more soon. Keep praying for them.

Prayer Request

OK, Blogging Buddies! I have a prayer request for you!

My nephew Gavin is on his way to Children's Hospital again. He started throwing up again this morning like he did last weekend so they carried him to his pediatrician and they are sending him to Children's.

I will update as I know more. Please keep Erika, Lee, and Gavin in your prayers.

Eatin' Tweetin' Meetin'

What started out as a joke one day on Twitter became an actual meeting yesterday. Our first eatin' tweetin' meetin' was so much fun! I know Karmen, obviously, and I know Katie through my husband, and we all met Shana on Twitter... (My cousin, Alline, couldn't make it yesterday but she is part of this group too!)

We talked about families and kids and heard all about Katie's recent engagement, we talked about husbands and wedding plans and just about everything under the sun...

We were all really nervous before we got there because we were all meeting at least one person new but when we all got together it was like we had known each other forever!

Below is Shana, me, Karmen, and Katie at a local Mexican restaurant! We lunched for FIVE HOURS yesterday! We met, ate, and laughed for five straight hours... ironically there wasn't much tweetin' going on.

Next time we hope to add Alline in and Katie's sister Brandy too!!!

Thanks ladies for an awesome time, I can't wait to get together again!!!

Not a lot to say....

Gavin was realeased from the hospital on Monday. He is doing great at home! Thanks for all of the prayers!

I've just been working. And so has Zach.

Life is moving at a slower pace right now and I am completely ok with that.

Gavin the Great

Gavin is doing so much better!!! They are keeping him one more night because he is still dehydrated. And he finally pooped this morning!!!




I am so happy to see him doing much better!!!

He has intussusception. Google it because it too much to try to explain via my iPhone. But it has corrected itself thankfully. They will be keeping a close eye in him because it can happen again!

Thanks for all the prayers! The family really appreciates them!

Prayer Request

Please keep my sweet nephew, Gavin, in your prayers. He was taken to the emergency room early this evening because he was throwing up a lot and he got really weak. They are thinking he has intussusception. They are keeping him overnight for observation.
