you guys are going to hate me

When we finally get internet service at home because I will have so many pictures to post!!! I can't post pictures from work because we can't put personal pictures on our work computers... Ugh, I miss posting pictures!!!

Life is going great right now though. I love being in my house again! We had some friends over last weekend for a cook out! It was so much fun!!!

I just realized that my birthday is in less than a month! I will be 24, I think... Just kidding! I will definitely be 24!!! It is funny looking back I always thought that I would be married with kids by now... I have completed the married part just not the kids part. Some days I think I am ready to start a family and then I think about the cost of the doctor's visits and fees when I have the baby and I start to have a panic attack and then I have to tell myself to stop thinking about it... Then there are some days when I long to hold my baby and feed my baby and snuggle my baby and then I have to tell myself one day I will be able to do all of those things...

Then I really get myself worked up, what if we can't have children??? What will we do then, I have always wanted to be a mommy... adoption is so expensive and so are fertility treatments. And it is then that I tell myself to quit worrying that everything will work out the way God has planned.

To be continued... it is almost time to go home!

while others

While others are singing rain, rain go away... I am thankful for the rain because my mom just planted two trees at my house that need watering...

While others are complaining about their job... I am thankful that I have a stable job...

While others are wishing that they had what others have... I am thankful for what I do have...

While others are complaining about their husbands... I am thankful for my wonderful husband, who goes above and beyond for our little family...

I am guilty of doing everything that these others are doing but when you take the time to sit and think about it we should all be thankful for what we have in our lives! All we have to do is open our eyes and our hearts and God will show us what we have to be thankful for in every aspect of our lives!

the last thing you ever want to see

Last night as we were watching the news, a story came on about budget cuts to the local county police department. There is a street crimes unit that has been patrolling a neighboring city near my house and have cut down on crime in the area drastically... Now here comes the scary part, they start showing houses in my subdivision saying that there had been a break in today (actually yesterday)!!! The last thing you want to see before you go to bed is a video of houses in your subdivision talking about a break in.

When we moved back into our house we were told by one of our neighbors that there had been a lot break ins since the beginning of the year... luckily ours was not one of them... we were told that they caught those people, so now there is a new person or persons doing it and it scares me to death! Even Zach was uneasy when we were going to bed last night...

Keep us and all of our neighborhood in your prayers, there are a lot of single people who live by themselves in our subdivision, our neighbor being one of them... Even though her daughter lives in the subdivision we try to keep an eye out for her too... she is the sweetest woman!

Talk about hitting close to home... I have heard of crime in our city but it has never been this close to where I live!

i have missed my tv

I didn't realize how much I actually watched TV until I didn't have it to watch, but as of Saturday night at 8:45 our Directv is up and running...

Zach had drill this weekend so I hung out at the house all weekend... it was nice to just read and relax and watch TV.

This week is going to be crazy busy because I am doing the work of two people... so I am hoping that all goes well!

Not really much to update on so I am going to get back to work... Have a great Monday!

Weight Watchers: Day 1

Today is actually going fairly well. I am usually a soft drink junkie but since I have decided to start WW I thought I should cut them out because they use up my points and I would much rather use my points on food not drinks, thankyouverymuch! So, I drink orange juice for breakfast and then I had half of a can of coke with lunch because I can't go all day without caffeine and now I am drinking water... I would say that is a step in the right direction, wouldn't you?

I like counting points. It is sort of fun to try to get as close to my daily points without going over... kind of like a game off of the Price is Right!

The rest of the day should be pretty easy so that is good... Can't wait to weigh in on Sunday to see how much I have lost, probably not a whole lot because I just started yesterday but hey, every little bit helps...

I adore long weekends...

This weekend was absolutely amazing... It was spent with family and friends and of course lots of good food! We had a great time and ate too much but it was so much fun to just be together!

I have started cross stitching again and I would post some pictures for you but I don't have the internet at my house yet. Directv is coming today about our TV service but we haven't set the internet up... that is one of those things that doesn't have to be done immediately... So no pictures until I can get internet access at home... but it is so much fun and I have completed a lot!!! You can follow me on Twitter and I will post some pictures there!

Totally random... but I am really missing Ava! I miss coming home to her every afternoon!!! That little girl is something else! I am going to see her tonight though and give her lots of hugs and kisses!!!

I am sorry for the random posts lately but not having internet at home I have to cram everything into posts when I am at work... I have a mental running list of what I need to blog about... I have so many pictures to post that I need to make an actual list of them...

Well the phone beckons... I hope you have a great day!

4th of July Memories

When I was a little girl we used to always have a HUGE BBQ at my Nanny Parker's house out by the pool! All of the family would come and my great grand dad would cook for us. Granddaddy Giambrone always cooked... The whole family would come and we would hang out outside or inside and eat and talk and play all day long... ah, the memories!

Unfortunately we haven't done that in years... and Granddaddy Giambrone died almost three years ago so no more yummy food from him... this year we are celebrating with Zach's family at the lake... what are you doing?
